Parent Education Webinar: Helping Parents and Children Cope with Anxiety as the World Reopens

Las Madres members are invited to attend a parent education series consisting of three workshops that will discuss the transition of families getting back to a “New Normal '', and how to help prepare children for this change.
Workshop 1: Helping Parents and Children Cope with Anxiety as the World Reopens
Presenter: Brittney Reiser, LMFT, Parent Educator, Parents Place

During this workshop, we will address strategies to help your child cope and manage his or her feelings. Identify and discuss common anxiety triggers, such as the current school situations, social dynamics or lack thereof, sleep, and separation issues all during the pandemic and as the world starts to re-open.

This series is hosted and sponsored by the Stanford WorkLife Office and all presenters are parent educators from Parents Place.

Mindful Technology – Weaning Ourselves off Screens and Getting Back to Pre-pandemic Interactions

Workshop 3: Wednesday, August 4 from 3:00pm – 4:30pm:
Re-Emergence: How to Ease Back in to Family Life after the Pandemic

Each workshop is a stand-alone presentation, so it is not necessary to attend all three events should you not be able to make all of them.
