A HUGE thank you Las Madres members!!! Our breast pump drive is complete and together we have collected and donated 106 gently used pumps and large moving boxes and bags FULL of accessories!
You read that right: ONE HUNDRED AND SIX PUMPS!!!
Each one of these donations is going to go to a mom and baby in need who otherwise would not be able to afford an electric pump! This donation gives the gift of mother’s milk to those babies ❤️ If you figure the average pump is around $200 (or more!) this drive, in pumps alone, donated over $21,000 worth of goods not to mention the hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of accessories!!
LGS2016 has plans to use the $200 stipend money awarded to us to purchase new tubing to go along with these donations.
The lactation consultant leading this cause said, “I can’t thank you enough.... thank you from deep in my heart.” I feel the same. I am in awe and blown away by the generosity of each and every one of you. Thank you more than words for your donations!
